I don't care anymore. I'm not going to be weight down by perceptions and what is expected of me or what is deemed right. It's my life. I want to reach out and grab the things I desire. That I know is right. Life is never perfect. aND IF I KNOW IT'S RIGHT, I will want to fight for it.
Had my human physiology test yesterday. Should have studied a little harder. Then had a lecture on leprosy and ear implants. The operation that was screened on ear implants was so gross. I couldn’t stare at the screen for too long. Could hear the churning of my stomach. Nearly puked la. The surgeon had to literally cut the whole area behind the back of the ear, cut open the cochlea, place the electrical device in-line with the spirals of the cochlea. Then insert in a real big instrument to keep it intact. People, do take care of your ears. Did you know that listening to music with your Walkman for 3 hours a day above the range of 85 decibels could make you deaf in the future?
Did you know that giving birth is 22 times more painful then a cut on your finger? Ouch.
Did you know that leprosy is caused by a bacteria attack on your nervous system? Many people lose their eyes cause of their inability to blink away the dust from their eyes.
I like the lecturer. His family is stationed in Yunan to improve the medical health of the people there. He comes back every week just to give us this lecture =) am so honored. And did you know I am the ONLY Accounting student in that course. It is mostly made up of year 2, year 3 engineering students. Many foreign students. The environment is so different from the business and accountancy faculty. People there are less concern with their dress sense. The worry more about doing well and going back to their country and contributing to their society. They are much more down to earth and simple. And yar, I was gungho again yesterday. Went out with my friend to try an experiment. I was guys versus girls. But oh well, the guys won. But did you know, in the Northern part of Yunan, it’s a matriarchy society where the women have all the say and of course it’s more prosperous then the Southern side. Cause there’s no gambling and smoking. Haha =)
Am going to practice with the other babes plus kai lun and ee jun later. “So you would come”. Man, am singing the alto with Doreen. Hopefully we can sing it well and loud *cross fingers* Isabel help!! Ha ha. Evangelistic rally tonight. Hope more people receive Christ. Ta ta..
